Purpose of research

Market research is the way that companies gather information about their consumers needs and preferences. It is also a way of finding out who their potential buyers are. Market research can be primary or secondary.

Audience research is used to gather information about the audience's attitudes, knowledge, interests, preferences, or behaviours. (demographics and psychographics)

Production research is used to give information on the product and sell it to the audience
